Weighty issues...

So here is my honesty blog... I'm feeling so frustrated. I had NO IDEA it would be this hard to lose my weight from Klair. I've never really had to lose (real) weight before, and now that I have to... it's so frustrating.... I don't think I'm particularly fat, I just want to get back down to the weight I was when I got pregnant, which is still a few more pounds. EVERYONE told me that because I was nursing the weight would just "fall" off, because apparently your matabolism runs a lot higher when you're nursing, well, I was one of the lucky ones who that did not happen for. :)

Don't get me wrong... all the weight in the world was worth it to have my baby girl, but it's hard now that I'm trying to get rid of it. So there you go... I'm being honest... painful as it is. For those of you mothers out there who read my blog... How did you get rid of the post pregnacy weight??? :)

Graduation

We had a nice weekend. Josh unofficially graduated last weekend which was GREAT! It will actually be greater when he's done with his classes. He won't actually be done with class until the middle of July, but they let him walk. I still can't believe he's actually done a two year Master's program in less than a year. When he took it on, I thought how in the world is he going to do this along with all the other things he does, not to mention having a new baby. But he was awesome. He handled everything so well. We made some sacrifices, but overall it was soooo worth it to get it done in a year instead of drag it out to two.

What it is about guys not wanting to walk in their graduations? It's such an accomplishment to get your Master's. My brother didn't walk, and I had to force Josh too! :) Oh well. We had a nice time with both sets of parents, it went fast as always. Josh picked Outback for his graduation celebration so we went there after and then back to our house for cake. It was nice and small just like he wanted.

Here are a couple of pictures from the weekend.

Cough drops... and other things

This is in response to Kelli's blog about cough drops. She posted that she caught Andrew up stairs eating all the cherry cough drops and that she called poison control to see if it was a problem. Well, I'm not sure if you remember this, but my ONE craving during pregnancy was the MENTHOYL HALLS cough drops!! Crazy, I know! I probably went through 12 bags or more of them. Now of course I think they're disgusting, but for some reason while I was pregnant I couldn't get enough. I asked my doctor about it because I was eating so many of them and she had never heard of that craving before, but she didn't think it could hurt the baby. So... in response to Andrew eating so many, I doubt it will hurt him , other wise Klaryssa is in trouble because her mommy ate A LOT! :)

Also... in response to tonight and The Office... I am soooo excited too! :) Jim better do something about what Pam said last week at the bon fire. :)
