Its raining, its SNOWING...
It has been snowing continually since last night. So far I think we have about 7 inches and we supposed to get about 3 more when all is said and done. They say it is supposed to snow off and on until Friday morning. It's beautiful, but I don't enjoy driving in it! :)
We went to the Christmas banquet for Crown last night and that was fun. I took my pie and had one piece left over which Josh was happy about. We got there at 6 and we were outa there by 7:30. Short and sweet, just the way we like it! :) They had presents for all the children which was a really nice touch. The employees were all given gift certificates to their choice of three different restaurants. (the Crown cafe :), Pizza Ranch, and some other restaurant I had never heard of in Waconia) Which one do suppose Josh chose??? :) Yep, Pizza Ranch... I'm ok with that though because they have a really nice buffet. After the party we had some time to kill so we went to the mall because Josh had to buy something...He wouldn't tell me what...hhhmmm. :)
Oh...and I got stuck in my driveway this morning. There was about 6 inches piled up in the driveway and I thought I could make it out...but I got stuck right at the end. I had to shovel myself out. A semi blew his horn at me at the end of the driveway and scared me to death!! It wasn't my fault, he was just mean, and I wasn't blocking him. I think he was trying to be funny, and scare me. jerk. I got out eventually, but I was soaked to the bone.
I'm watching it snow out of my cubicle (prison) window and it really is pretty. :)

Yes, I surfed as well, but let me just say it's so much harder than it looks and I usually waited until there were no "real" surfers around to try a get up on my board. :)

The regional tournament was at Faith in Ankeny. Luckily, since we won both girls and guys we got to go to a warmer state for Nationals! :)

I'm so sorry, but I really do have an excuse! :) I forgot my password for this new blog and I was just able to access it today!! So, here I am again and I know you all missed me. :)
We have been so busy, where do I start? We went to Florida at the beginning of November for the National Soccer Tournament and had a great time. I will post some pictures for you all to see. We were able to relax on the beach for a couple of days after the tournament which was great for us.
We had Thanksgiving in Iowa with two days at my parents and two days at Josh's parents. Very busy, but always fun. And... as always we ate too much.
Two weeks ago it was back to Iowa for deer season. Josh had to hunt with his family so us girls went to Jordan Creek mall and shopped and ate at the Cheesecake Factory. It was my first time there and it was delicious.
There that was a quick synopsis of the past month and now I'll get you all up to speed on last weekend... We finally had a weekend to do some Christmas things. Saturday I cleaned and organized our closets, which desperately needed it. Living in such a small house we really struggle with closet space, so every once in a while you have to reorganize them to keep them in order. I also cleaned the house. A clean home is a happy home, or something like that! :) Sunday, we finally bought our tree and decorated it. I made some Christmas cookies and we watched White Christmas, which we both fell asleep during! :) It's one of my favorite movies, but I was so tired last night.
Today is going to be a crazy day, actually this week is going to be crazy. It always is for me at the end of billing cycles for work. I have to try and get in as many audits as I can every other week. :) We have Crown's Christmas party tomorrow night and we are supposed to bring a desert. I'm going to bring chocolate pecan pie. This will be the third one I've made in the past month. I think I will not be making a chocolate pecan pie for a while! :)
Josh is really enjoying his new job. His uniforms came in last week and he doesn't like them, but I think he looks cute in them! :)
