Fresh air

So today I had major cabin fever. I know it was only 20 degrees outside and I have a baby but I had to get outside. So... I took Josh's soccer winter coat (huge really warm coat) and I strapped Klair to me with the baby bjorn and zipped the coat around both of us (I'll have to take a picture so you can see it!) and we were off. We went for a nice long walk. It really was nice to get some fresh air. That's the only bad thing about winter is having to be inside all day. She stayed nice and toasty in there and so did I. People stared at me the whole time but oh well, they were probably thinking what's that crazy lady doing taking a baby out in the cold. :) I can assure all of you she stayed very warm and enjoyed it too.

Honk, Honk

I should to be working, but instead have been reading my family and friends blogs, so now I feel guilty enough to post my own. :) We haven't really been up to anything new. Josh is still working on his Master's degree. He is going to graduate in May! Yippee!! When he decided to do the Master's program in one year instead of two, everyone said he was crazy... with a new baby, and new job, and soccer season... but I knew he could do it. He is a very determined person and between you and me, school comes very easy to him (unlike his wife:). So now he's half done and we can see an end in site and it's been so worth it that he's done it one year to get it over with.

I have been enjoying being home with my baby and working... when I feel like it! :) It's really great to be part time. Since I have to work, this is definitely the way to go. I usually work from 8 to noon Monday through Thursday. Some times I have to work longer than that... if I don't use my time wisely. :)

I was doing laundry yesterday and it still seems so weird to fold little baby clothes. And to see baby toys and apparel in the house. She got a Jeep Wrangler from Jim and Michele and I put that together last night for the first time. She really liked it, she can move backwards only but she'll learn how to go forward eventually and then watch out! It has a horn and radio that she kept pushing on accident and they would scare her. :)

First time in Shoes

Check out these cool Nikes. :)

17 weeks old...

Hello everyone. We're doing well here. Klayrssa has grown so much. It's been a while since I've posted. She is rolling over regularly now and SLEEPING through the NIGHT!!! Yea! last night she slept 11 hours. That was so great. She was sleeping so long I kept going in to check on her to make sure she was ok. She had been sleeping about 7 to 8 hours prior to last night since Christmas. She has just discovered her tongue in the past two days and is constantly sticking it out and trying to blow raspberries. She hasn't quite gotten the hang of them yet and pretty much just ends up drooling everywhere, but it's very cute.

Josh and I are doing well. Josh is going to have a tough 7 weeks ahead of him. He has two of the hardest classes for his masters these next weeks. One of his teachers is Crown's president and the other is the VP, so he wants to do a good job too (of course he would do a good job anyway). He is also putting a bedroom in the basement for Jim and Michelle.

We just recently got hooked on the tv show 24. For New Years Josh rented what we thought was the 1st season but ended up being the 4th season (pretty exciting New Year's partiers!). We had been wanting to see it, since my parents are hooked on it and pretty much everyone we talk to. It was so good we watched the whole 4th season over the weekend and the whole 5th season over last weekend. So the new season starts this Sunday night and we're caught up to speed (except for the part that we didn't see the 1st, 2nd and 3rd seasons, oh well) At least we know what's going on now. It is non stop action, which Josh likes and it's political, which is another plus.

I'm busy working. My part time job has turned a little bit more full time than I expected, but I kinda figured that would happen. It's still so flexible which is the best part.
