My First Post

I changed my blog address, yes I know you are all annoyed since now you have to change it in your favorites. Cause I know I'm in all of your favorites! :) It was just something I needed to do.

Josh has a makeup game today against North Central. It was cancelled a couple of weeks ago due to lightening. I'm not going because I can't miss work. Other than that we really don't have much going on today.

A continuation from my post from last blog. If you all remember I have been very reflective...so here is something I am "chewing" on today. I am going through the Green Letters again.

The Proper Attitude of Man under Grace:
"To believe, and to consent to be loved WHILE UNWORTHY,is the great secret."
"To refuse to make 'resolutions' and 'vows'; for that is to trust in the flesh"
"To expect to be blessed, though realizing more and more lack or worth..."
"To rely on God's chastening (child training) hand as a mark of His kindness"

Things which gracious souls discover:
"To 'hope to be better' (hence acceptable) is to fail to see yourself in CHRIST ONLY."
"To be disappointed with yourself, is to have believed in yourself"
"To be discouraged is unbelief - as to God's purpose and plan for blessing for you"
"To be proud , is to be blind! For we have no standing before God, in ourselves."
"The lack of divine blessing, therefore, comes from unbelief, and not from failure of devotion..."
"To preach devotion first, and blessing second is to reverse God's order, and preach law NOT GRACE. Grace confers undeserved, unconditional blessing; our devotion may follow, but does not always do so - in proper measure."

Heavy thoughts, I know. I enjoy writing these things out because it brings it back to memory for me, and hopefully at the same time gives you some encouragement as well. :)

I'd be interested in knowing why the change, but it's not necessary. I like the look of the new one and of course the title great. :) I'll replace it my favorite...'cause whether you believe it or not, it was there!!
